For local businesses

See your new website before you pay a cent.

I build you a free mockup of a new website for your business — real pages, your services, your details. If you like it, we make it live. If you don't, you owe nothing and we part as friends.

How it works

  1. You email me. Tell me your business name and what you do — that's all I need to start.
  2. I build a free mockup. A working preview of your new site, built from what's publicly known about your business, at no cost and no obligation.
  3. You look it over. Click around it on your phone or computer. Show your staff, your customers, your family.
  4. Only pay if you want it. If you like it, we sort the details together — your domain, hosting, photos, and wording — and it goes live. If not, that's genuinely fine.

No contracts to sign before you've seen anything, no deposit, no sales calls. The mockup is the pitch — you judge the actual work, not promises about it.

Why bother with a website?

Most people find a plumber, electrician, or tradie the same way now: they search, they glance at whoever shows up, and they call the one that looks sorted. A clean, fast site that says what you do, where you work, and how to reach you is often the difference between getting that call and not. That's the whole job of the site I build you — no bloat, just the pages a customer actually needs.

Continuous improvement, automation & reporting

If your team runs on spreadsheets, re-keyed data, and reports someone assembles by hand every month, I can help. I map how the work actually flows, find where time leaks out, and fix it — through simpler processes, automation, and reporting that answers the questions managers actually ask.

This is what I do professionally: continuous improvement and division-wide analytics at the University of Otago, customer success for a safety-software SaaS at GetHomeSafe, and workflow optimisation and workforce projections for a 400-seat call centre at Contact Energy. Same methods, scaled to fit a small organisation.

Also: ads that fit a local budget

For local businesses

Meta & Google ads, managed sensibly

Most local businesses don't need an agency retainer — they need a small, carefully-run campaign that brings in local work without burning the budget. I set up and run modest Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google campaigns: a clear offer, tight local targeting, and honest reporting on what a lead actually costs you.

It pairs naturally with a new website, but works fine with the one you've got. And if the numbers say the ads aren't earning their keep, I'll be the one to tell you to turn them off.
